Who We Are
We are a contemporary jewelry studio focused on small-batch and custom production. Each piece is developed with attention to proportion, engineered for comfort and wearability, and crafted with acknowledgment of the cultural elements it draws upon. We draw from ancient forms such as seal script, commonplace vessels, and symbols that have retained their meaning across millenium.
Our design studio is located in Los Angeles, and our production facility where we create our pieces from start to finish is located nearby in Orange County. We appreciate the irony of being an Asian-owned, Asian-inspired jewelry brand that intentionally chooses to manufacture locally rather than overseas in Asia. It’s essential to our creation process that our design team works closely with our production team. This close collaboration allows us to maintain the quality and craftsmanship that define our brand, something that wouldn’t be possible if production was happening halfway around the world.
OUR PROMISE
Only Fine Materials
We work primarily in solid 14k and 18k gold, platinum, and sterling silver, with select references to jade, abalone, and archival forms. Each material is chosen not only for its beauty, but for its ability to endure, which has been proven by the thousands of ancient artifacts that still exist.
Our jewelry pieces are intended to be worn often and kept for decades. This is one of the many ways in which we’re committed to sustainability: make pieces that customers can enjoy for years.
Custom Work
Some of our signature pieces, such as our seal script designs, are made to order. These begin with a name or word and are developed in collaboration with the client through a collaborative design process. For more information please see our Custom Order page.
