CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom pieces are created exclusively for the client who commissions them. Each work is developed through a considered, one-to-one process between client and studio, and is therefore subject to the terms outlined below.

1. NATURE OF CUSTOM WORK

Custom orders are made-to-order and produced specifically according to the client’s approved design specifications, including but not limited to name, script choice, proportions, metal choice, and finish.

Each piece is individually designed, cast, and finished by hand. As such, slight variations are an inherent part of the process and should be expected as part of the character of bespoke production.

2. PAYMENT

Full payment is required at the time of placing a custom order. Production will not begin until payment has been received in full.

Due to the bespoke nature of the work, all custom orders are final sale and are not eligible for exchange, return, or refund.

3. DESIGN PROCESS & CLIENT APPROVAL

Following purchase, the studio will contact the client directly via email to confirm personalization details and initiate the design process within 2 business days.

A digital design or concept proof will be presented for review. The client may request reasonable revisions within the scope of the original design direction.

Custom orders are made-to-order and production cannot begin without explicit final approval.

For clarity, final approval is defined as written confirmation from the client indicating acceptance of the final design for production.

4. COMMUNICATION & RESPONSE TIME

Due to the bespoke nature of custom work, timely communication is required at each stage of the process.

If no response is received within 14 days of a studio communication, a reminder will be issued. If no response is received within 30 days, the order will be placed on hold until further instruction is provided.

Custom orders that remain inactive for an extended period may be considered abandoned at the discretion of the studio.

5. PRODUCTION TIMELINE

Custom pieces typically require 5–8 weeks from the date of final design approval. Timelines may vary depending on communication frequency, design complexity, and production schedule.

The client will be notified if any significant delays arise during production.

6. MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

All custom pieces are crafted in solid 14k or 18k gold or sterling silver, as specified at the time of order. Other specialty materials are available upon request. Full material details are confirmed prior to production.

Each piece is finished by hand by skilled artisans. Subtle variations in surface, form, or finish are a natural result of this process and are not considered defects.

We reserve the right to decline custom requests that fall outside of our design or production capabilities.

7. CHANGES AFTER APPROVAL

Once final approval has been granted, no further modifications can be made to the design, as production will have begun.

8. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

All custom pieces are shipped fully insured and require a signature upon delivery. Delivery timelines vary based on destination and production completion.

The studio is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or external carriers.

9. OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs created by the studio, including custom commissions, remain the intellectual property of the studio unless otherwise agreed in writing. The studio reserves the right to archive or reference designs for internal or portfolio purposes, unless the client requests confidentiality.
